Get Out Lehigh Valley: Big Trees

At Jacobsburg State Park, we'll walk along the cooling Bushkill Creek within the old growth forest of Henry's Woods. The Jacobsburg Historical Society offers exhibits and demonstrations of early gun making, as well as a wide range of historical programs throughout the year.

This hike is appropriate for children of all ages. Dogs on leash are welcome. Bathrooms are available across the Bushkill Creek from the parking lot. Length: 2.5 miles  Duration: 1.5 hours   GPS: 40.782661, -75.292847

Location: Jacobsburg State Park, 400 Belfast Road, Nazareth PA 18064   

Directions: From Route 22 take Route 33 north for 7.6 miles to the Belfast Exit. At foot of exit ramp turn right onto Henry Road for 0.1 miles and make sharp left onto Belfast Road. Continue on Belfast Road 0.7 miles to the Jacobsburg State Park parking area on your left. Additional parking is available 0.1 mile up the road on your left at the Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center.  A path connects the two parking lots.

This is a free event which is open to the public, therefore no time credits will be earned or charged for attendance.
